What a friend we have in Jesus, All our sins and griefs to bear! What a privilege to carry Everything to God in prayer! Oh, what peace we often forfeit, Oh, what needless pain we bear, All because we do not carry Everything to God in prayer! Have we trials and temptations? Is there trouble anywhere? We should never be discouraged— Take it to the Lord in prayer. Can we find a friend so faithful, Who will all our sorrows share? Jesus knows our every weakness; Take it to the Lord in prayer. Are we weak and heavy-laden, Cumbered with a load of care? Precious Savior, still our refuge— Take it to the Lord in prayer. Do thy friends despise, forsake thee? Take it to the Lord in prayer! In His arms He’ll take and shield thee, Thou wilt find a solace there. What a friend, what a friend What a friend!

Holy, holy, holy! Lord God Almighty! Early in the morning our song shall rise to Thee; Holy, holy, holy, merciful and mighty! God in three Persons, blessed Trinity! Holy, holy, holy! All the saints adore Thee, Casting down their golden crowns around the glassy sea; Cherubim and seraphim falling down before Thee, Who was, and is, and evermore shall be. Holy, holy, holy! Though the darkness hide Thee, Though the eye of sinful man Thy glory may not see; Only Thou art holy; there is none beside Thee, Perfect in pow’r, in love, and purity.

about

I arranged & produced an album of Hymns for Southwest Community Church where I worked prior to coming to Central. That is where I first met Allison Medina, who has since joined our Worship Leading team at Central here in Vegas. These are 3 of the songs off of that album.

"What A Friend We Have In Jesus" is a duet by Allison & me. "Holy, Holy, Holy" is me singing with the piano, and "Turn Your Eyes & Trust in Jesus" is a piano solo combining "Turn Your Eyes Upon Jesus" & "'Tis So Sweet to Trust In Jesus".
